Choose a PLC course in one of 12 FET College locations around the city.  If you are a recent school leaver or a mature learner, a PLC course can offer you a dedicated route to the workplace or to further study.  A City of Dublin FET College PLC course will help you take the next step to achieving your career goals.

Apprenticeship courses combine hands-on workplace training with classroom study. We partner with industry to build real skills for real careers. With options across multiple sectors, at least 50% of learning takes place on the job, leading to nationally recognised qualifications and clear pathways to long-term employment. Traineeships combine learning in an education and training setting as well as learning in the workplace. All courses lead to accreditation at levels 4-6 and include a minimum of 30% of the course in the workplace. Our Traineeship options are free to access and open to potential participants of all ages and backgrounds including school leavers, adult learners and those in, or seeking employment.

Tertiary degree courses begin in a City of Dublin FET College and progress directly into higher education, leading to an NFQ Level 7 or Level 8 qualification. A Tertiary degree is a no points pathway to a Level 7 or 8 degree.  Start your studies with us and progress seamlessly to a Higher Education Institute, with no fees and full access to supports and facilities in both college settings.
