We work with business to upskill and reskill their workforce with flexible, high-quality training solutions. We will help you to identify skills gaps, design tailored programmes and provide access to funded initiatives keeping your team competitive in a fast-changing economy.

Employer Engagement Service
City of Dublin FET College makes workforce development simple, flexible and fully supported. Training can take place in the workplace or at one of our City of Dublin FET College centres. Our funded training courses are flexible and designed to fit around your staff and day to day operations.

Skills to Advance

Skills to Advance is a government supported initiative that helps small to medium enterprises access funding and subsidies for staff training. We deliver a wide variety of funded NFQ Levels 5 and 6 courses to employed learners across many different sectors in Dublin city.

Skills for Work

Skills for Work offers fully funded training for employees with lower skill levels. Training can take place in the workplace or at one of our City of Dublin FET College centres. Accredited options are available at NFQ Levels 3 and 4.

  • Languages (ESOL)
  • IT and Digital Skills

Traineeships

Traineeships blend classroom learning with practical workplace experience, typically lasting 6-20 months.  We work with in partnership with industry representatives and employers in Dublin city to develop traineeships that meet skills needs and addresses skills gaps.

Traineeship courses provide an opportunity for employers to access to a pool of learners and directly input into training for their sector. By tailoring courses to meet local needs, traineeships can improve employment outcomes for participants and increase employee retention and productivity.

Employers can play an important role in supporting skills development while benefiting from motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to your organisation.
